Yang Yulong is an energy systems architect based in Singapore, with more than fifteen years across renewable generation, grid modernisation and the point where both meet artificial intelligence.
As an executive at Univers and Huawei he led deployments of grid dispatch systems, AI-driven energy management platforms and battery storage across Southeast Asian power systems, including infrastructure projects with Keppel and Sembcorp in Singapore.
He holds advanced engineering degrees from the National University of Singapore and Nanyang Technological University, and a professional certification from the Wharton School. He writes about energy for a general audience under the name 能源龙哥 (“Energy Dragon”).
